Uncharted

I was once asked by a doctor what I did for work. "I'm just a mom," I replied. He looked at me, smiled, and said "There is no such thing as 'just' a mom."
While he may be right, that certainly doesn't mean I feel like I've got this all figured out. Every day is something new, every day is uncharted territory. I'll never get any given day back. Each day, my kids are one day older, have a little more knowledge and are growing ever so closely to the day they know more than me.
I'm just navigating this ship called Motherhood one day at a time!
